A guy is walking along in Greenwich Village one day when he passes a
long ladder going up a building.

Just as he's passing the ladder, a
voice calls down:
"CLIMB UP THE LADDER TO SUCCESS!"

He pauses, then thinks to himself, "Okay, I'll do it."

So he begins
to climb.

He climbs and climbs, taking an occasional breather.

Every time he stops, the voice above calls again:
"CLIMB UP THE LADDER TO SUCCESS!"

Finally, he reaches the top of the ladder and sitting there is a
pretty young man.

The guy asks the young man, "Who the hell are
you?"

"I'M CESS!"
